How to Get to O Dreamland


O Dreamland Shuttle Bus
There will be a free shuttle bus service running between Folkestone Central Station and Greatstone (stopping at the B&B Project Space in Folkestone, Red Lion Square in Hythe and Dymchurch). The bus will meet incoming trains from London. Click here for train and shuttle bus times.



Directions to Greatstone by Road From London
Take the M20 towards Folkestone,
exit at Junction 10 
take A1020 to Brenzett & Lydd
At Brenzett roundabout take first exit - to New Romney. 
Go through New Romney and turn right at lights just past the Shell garage to Littlestone and Sea Front.
At the seafront turn right and travel approx 1.5 miles.
202 The Parade (Sea Beach House) is on the right hand side a couple of hundred metres beyond Romney Sands caravan park.
The car journey takes approx. one and a half hours from East London

Public Transport
If you go to Kent Public Transport's website and enter your journey it will give you your travel options for any particular day. 

By Train from London
Via Folkestone Central
From London Bridge + also Waterloo East 
Then catch the O Dreamland Shuttle Bus (see above)
Or get off at Folkestone and walk 5-10 min to bus station
Get the no.12 bus to Greatstone - the bus carries on to Lydd + sometimes Hastings (it is quite a long bus journey - around an hour - but very scenic)
Ask for the stop after the Romney Sands Holiday Park which is around three or four stops after the Jolly Fisherman in Greatstone.
Via Ashford
Also from London Bridge + also Waterloo East
Get the no.11, the bus stop is directly outside the station
It is quicker to get to Ashford than Folkestone but... there are not many buses and they don't run on Sundays or bank holidays so check the

By National Express Coach from London
National Express coach 021 runs several times daily between Dover and London.
The nearest pickup point is Hythe Red Lion Square (from here you can link up with the O Dreamland Shuttle Bus or catch The Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway to Romney Sands which is just 5 minutes walk from 202 The Parade.
National Express coach 655 runs once daily on Saturdays only in July and August between New Romney and London. The pickup points are New Romney Ship Hotel, Greatstone Romney Sands, Lydd Church, Camber Sands Leisure Park, Camber Sands Pontins and Rye Railway Station.
