Rose Wylie was born in Kent in 1931 where she still lives and works. Her recent solo exhibitions include Tate Gallery Focus, Tate Britain, London (2013), Works on Paper, Michael Janseen Gallery, Berlin (2013), Big Boys Sit in the Front, Jerwood Gallery, Hastings (2012), Rosemount, Regina Gallery, Moscow (2012). Her solo exhibition Wear What You Like was at Transition Gallery in 2008.
